Junior Quant Developer 50,000-60,000 + bonusOur client is a well known Algo Order Management and Execution Business. This role sits in the Algo development team who work on perfecting and improving clients Algorithms. My client has a flat hierarchy and this is a small team of 10.This role will give you massive exposure to Algorithm development as well as all of the equity market. You should be looking to learn from people who enjoy passing on their knowledge. Their office is state of the art with an atmosphere of bright sharp developers and traders.Most algos are developed in backend C# but we are happy to look at Quants with a Java background.On a day to day basis expect to be analysing algo performance to the market as well as how its technology allows it to function. Then working with the dev team getting really into the backend of C# to increase its performance.In exchange we offer a bonus usually at 25%Quant Developers MUST have:Msc In Maths, Comp Sci, or Maths, Stats from Top Tier University (top 20 UK)Experience of OO programming C++ or C# or JavaSQL is a mustMatlab or RIdeally Scripting (Python ideally could be PhP, Ruby etc)Experience or serious demonstrable interest in FS and Algo TechAt least an internship or experience in financial services.This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing trading business at a time of significant and interesting growth within the sector.
