The Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to join a leading independent school in Somerset to head up the in-house Catering & Hospitality function.
With circa 700 people onsite daily (180 boarders) this is a role that combines delivering at volume, 3-meals per day, 7-days a week plus commercial hospitality catering as required.
Leading and developing a large team across a diverse catering department, the Catering & Hospitality Manager will be responsible for ensuring standards, both front and back of house, managing budgets in excess if £1m and working to deliver healthy, nutritious menus to suit the expectations of pupils and staff.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role we are looking to speak to Catering Managers who come with experience at delivering volume and managing large teams. Ideally with a strong background in in-house contract catering or schools and a proven track record at delivering results.
Specifically our client is looking for;
NVQ level 4 or equivalent in Hotel and Catering, Hospitality Management.
Recognised level 3 and above management qualification.
Recognised level 3 and above food safety qualification.
City & Guild 706 1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent in catering skills.
