Job Description

Administrator - Permanent role.

Location: Stourbridge, DY9 area.

Rate of pay: £26,436.8 - £30,000 (Depending on experience).

Days of work: Monday-Friday.

Hours of work: 07:30-16:00 (flexible depending on the candidate).

Holiday Entitlement: Minimum 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).

Our Ground works Client based in Stourbridge are seeking a reliable and organised Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of their office and accounts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative tasks, data entry, document management, customer communication, and assisting with accounts-related activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.

This is a permanent vacancy via rapier employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the accounts department with organising, processing, and filing invoices.
  • Accurately input and maintain data using Microsoft Excel and internal systems.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and direct enquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Manage and file delivery tickets received from site locations, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create, organise, and manage PDF files for customer orders and company documentation.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems to ensure documentation is easily accessible.
  • Support general office administration duties as required.
  • Assist with document preparation, record keeping, and data management.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling company information and records.
  • Work closely with colleagues across departments to support operational requirements.

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in administration.
  • Strong and Stable work History.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and spreadsheet management.
  • Previous Experience managing Invoices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and email communication.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good telephone manner and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in administrative or office support roles.
  • This is a permanent Full-time position so is not suitable for those looking for part time work or with working hour restrictions.
