Location: Clacton-on-Sea, Essex
Position: Teaching Assistant
⏰ Hours: Full-time / Part-time, term-time
Contract: Permanent / Fixed-term
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualifications

Are you passionate about helping children learn, grow and reach their full potential?

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Clacton-on-Sea.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and personally. You will help children develop their confidence, independence, resilience and enthusiasm for learning, while working closely with teachers and other members of the school team.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support across the classroom and wider school environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting pupils during lessons and learning activities.

Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.

Providing additional support to pupils who may experience barriers to learning.

Supporting pupils with SEND and additional educational needs.

Helping children develop confidence, independence and resilience.

Encouraging pupils to participate positively in their learning.
