Van Driver

Staffline are currently recruiting for Home Delivery Van Drivers for our prestigious client based in Greenford.

Are you a Home Delivery Driver looking for flexible or permanent work with a leading logistics provider that provides home delivery services on behalf of one of the leading food retailers. We are looking for customer-focused drivers to support this busy home delivery operation, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

We offer flexible working with shifts available 2-5 days per week.

Available shift start times are:

- Mornings: 05:00 - 07:00

- Afternoons: 12:00 - 13:30

Please note: Our key service days are Friday through Monday. Drivers must be available for a minimum of 2 of these 4 days, with Friday availability essential. Preference will be given to candidates able to work 3 or 4 of these key service days.

PAYE rates are as below:

- £15.07 per hour

- Opportunity to earn up to £16.00 per hour through a performance bonus scheme (T&Cs apply)

Your Time at Work

The role mainly consists of home delivery operations:

- Safely and efficiently completing multi-drop deliveries to Waitrose customers

- Delivering to approximately 20+ customers per day

- Providing outstanding customer service at the point of delivery

- Managing customer returns and reporting any discrepancies

- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

- Operating vehicles safely, legally, and professionally at all times

- Meeting delivery performance targets in line with operational KPIs

- Representing both GXO and Waitrose to the highest standard

Induction Process:

- Monday to Wednesday: Classroom and yard-based training

- Thursday and Friday: Buddy-driver shifts

- Following successful completion, drivers will move into operational shifts from the following week

- Hold a full UK manual driving licence with a minimum of 6 months' driving experience
