Machine Operator - Corby

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company in Corby, specialising in irrigation equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for long-term, stable work in a busy and supportive workshop environment.

Pay: £16.55/hr | Overtime: £24.83/hr

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
Friday: 08:00 - 16:30

The Role

Operating and setting manufacturing machinery
Working with laser cutting, drilling, bending and threading machinery
Preparing materials and loading machinery
Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Following technical drawings and work instructions
Carrying out basic machine adjustments where required
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Meeting production targets and deadlines

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working with factory or manufacturing machinery is preferred
Experience with laser cutting, drilling, bending or threading machinery would be an advantage
Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable and willing to learn new machinery and processes
Good team player with a strong work ethic
Flexible to work overtime when required
