Stores Assistant
The Stores Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our store operations and ensuring the timely delivery of goods to our customers. This position requires a proactive individual with experience in stores management and van driving. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, the ability to use Microsoft programmes and a the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming shipments of goods in the store or warehouse.
Prepare orders for delivery to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Load and unload goods onto the delivery van
Drive the delivery van to customer locations, following established routes and schedules
Deliver goods to customers in a courteous and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
Assist with general store duties, including inventory management, stocking shelves, and assisting customers as needed.
Booking in and checking off incoming stock
With experience in a similar role, a hard-working attitude and the flexibility, the role is both rewarding and a great opportunity to be part of a growing team. Technical knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
Full driving license essential
