Datacenter Analyst - Active SC Clearance / SC Eligible

Location: Wokingham, UKWork Model: Hybrid – 3 Days per Week in Office + Ad hoc travel to other locationContract Duration: 6 MonthsAre you an experienced Data Centre Analyst with an active SC clearance or eligibility and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and Data Centre operations? We're looking for a skilled professional to support Data Centre activities across multiple UK locations, working closely with infrastructure, network, operational, and supplier teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the safe and reliable operation of the Data Centre estateCoordinate and support Data Centre consolidation, migration, and infrastructure activitiesWork with technical teams to understand compute, storage, network, applications, and service dependenciesReview and validate Data Centre inventory, assets, infrastructure, and dependenciesCoordinate activities across Data Centre, Infrastructure, Network, and supplier teamsSupport project planning, scheduling, milestones, and delivery trackingMaintain risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and actionsSupport technical change management and implementation activitiesEnsure changes impacting service availability, resilience, or redundancy are properly assessed and documentedProduce progress updates, reports, dashboards, and governance informationWork with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure activities are aligned and delivered within agreed timelinesSupport Data Centre resilience and service continuity improvementsEscalate risks, issues, and delivery blockers proactivelyRequired SkillsProven experience in a Data Centre Analyst, Data Centre Project, Infrastructure, or IT Delivery roleStrong understanding of Data Centre environments and IT infrastructureGood knowledge of compute, storage, networking, and infrastructure dependenciesExperience supporting Data Centre consolidation, migration, relocation, or transformationStrong coordination skills across technical and supplier teamsExperience with project governance, RAID management, reporting, and action trackingUnderstanding of IT change and service management processesStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsActive SC clearance or ability to obtain/maintain SC clearanceOwn vehicle and willingness to travel at short notice to Wokingham, Warwick, Corsham, Farnborough, and ReadingNice to HaveExperience with Data Centre facilities management, including power, cooling, and building management systemsExperience within government, defence, telecommunications, or other highly regulated environmentsITIL or similar service management experienceExperience working with Data Centre suppliers and third-party service providersKnowledge of resilience, redundancy, disaster recovery, and business continuity
