Job Description

Systems Developer (Azure / c#)

East Midlands, UK 1 x per week| Permanent| Full Time | 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, global organisation with a strong UK presence, looking for a Systems Developer to join their IT team. You'll be responsible for the development and coding of high-quality solutions and packages that meet project requirements, deconstructing complex problems into manageable steps as you support the business in delivering IT-enabled change.

You'll contribute to a strong team culture by writing, reviewing and providing constructive feedback on colleagues' code, and by producing clear technical documentation for internal and external use.

This is a great opportunity for a systems or software developer with a strength in Azure Integration Services, looking for a new challenge with a business that values technology as a driver of change

.

What You'll Be Doing

Designing, developing and coding solutions that meet project and business requirements
Breaking down complex problems into manageable steps and thinking critically about solutions
Reviewing code written by other developers and providing constructive feedback
Producing clear technical documentation for internal and external audiences
Participating in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups and sprint reviews
Translating non-technical business requirements into clear, concise technical specifications
Understanding cloud architecture and business processes, and how these are implemented at code level

What We're Looking For

Good working knowledge of Azure Development & Azure Integration Services, including Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps and API Management
Experience with Bicep for Azure infrastructure-as-code
A keen eye for detail and strong time management, with the ability to meet deadlines
A passion for technology and willingness to learn new languages, frameworks and tools as the field evolves
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders
The right attitude — a genuine interest in understanding business needs and putting them first
