Your new role In your new role as an Engineering Supervisor, You will ensure shift rota's our updated and ensure shift cover is arranged, support with Critical spares management, support with the scheduling of all PPM's, reactive works. Review and approved clients RAMS and access request through E-permit system, oversee and manage contractor site tasks you will still need to be partly tools based so to support with the undertaking of routine PPM tasks, planned maintenance in line with scheduled dates along with reactive repairs and Electrical Installation work as required. Be part of the escalation process for team out of hours and ensure all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks and reactive tasks are reported and recorded on to the CAFM system. You may also be called upon to assist with general building maintenance activities. What you'll need to succeed The Engineer supervisor would Ideally have previous supervision experience in a similar environment and would need City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent, 17th/18th edition IEE wiring regulations and experience using a range of maintenance equipment. IPAF 3A & 3B and basic mechanical knowledge is desirable but not essential.
A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic Mathematics skills.
Formally trained in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
Good IT skills relating to CAFM usage and supporting team with basic IT issues
Full and current driving licence.
BMS Knowledge.
Experience (Essential) of maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria.
Aptitudes good verbal communication skills
Good written English skills
Character committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
Calm manner, able to work under pressure.
Able to make sound decisions when needed.
Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20 kg.
Able to ascend and descend vertical access equipment.
Able to work at heights.
Experience of working in a critical environment/data centre.
A team player, able to work with contractors and clients representatives at all levels.
