Job Title: School Administrator

Location: Widnes

Start Date: Monday 14th September

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary - 2 Weeks

Are you an experienced administrator looking for a short-term opportunity within a secondary school? We are currently seeking a reliable and organised School Administrator to join a welcoming secondary school in Widnes for a two-week temporary assignment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous school administration or reception experience. Arbor experience would be highly desirable, although not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide reception and general administrative support across the school

Welcome visitors, pupils and staff in a professional and friendly manner

Answer telephone calls and respond to queries appropriately

Assist with general office administration and data entry

Update and maintain school records and systems

Use the Arbor MIS system to support day-to-day administration, where required

Assist with attendance and pupil-related administration

Support the wider school office team with general administrative tasks

Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive informationThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in an administrative or reception-based role

Experience working within a school or educational setting is desirable

Arbor experience is highly desirable

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A professional, friendly and approachable manner

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately

The ability to work effectively as part of a busy school office team
