We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled assembler with experience in electrical wiring, box build assembly, soldering, and wiring loom/harness manufacture .

The Role

As an Electrical Assembly / Wiring Operative, you will be responsible for a range of assembly and wiring tasks, ensuring products are built accurately and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Electrical box build and assembly

Wiring and connecting electrical components

Manufacturing wiring looms and cable harnesses

Soldering wires, connectors, and related components

Cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating cables

Working from engineering drawings, instructions, and specifications

Conducting quality checks on completed assemblies

Maintaining high standards of accuracy and workmanship

Following health and safety procedures while keeping the work area clean and organised

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within an electrical or electronic assembly environment and be confident carrying out detailed, hands-on work.

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

Box build wiring

Wiring loom and harness assembly

Cable assembly

Soldering

Electrical or electronic assembly

You will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 07:45am - 4:30pm

Friday: 07:45am - 1:00pm
