REED Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded school in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire , to recruit a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join their site team on an ongoing full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Working Hours

The preferred working pattern is a split shift:

6:00am - 9:00am

3:00pm - 8:00pm

Monday to Friday

There can be some flexibility around these hours for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas

Maintaining washrooms and replenishing supplies

Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the school

Following health and safety procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in a cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities role

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Good attention to detail

A positive and professional attitude

Experience working within a school or educational setting would be advantageous but is not essential
