We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSQE Advisor Solar PV to join our team. As an HSQE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance of our solar PV projects. This is a challenging and rewarding position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.
The candidate will be responsible for carrying out Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental audits in Solar Farms and BESS installations, creating audit reports, communicate the findings and proposing corrective actions for the different organisation personnel.
Key Responsabilities
Travel to the Solar Farms and BESS Installations and verify implemented HSQE measures on sites, monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations, and putting in place the corrective measures.
Support management to ensure compliance with client and RES requirements, and required quality, safety and environmental legal requirements.
Manage documentation and control of calibration tools and PPE to ensure the development of activities for technical staff and achieve the expected HSQE levels.
Support the HSQE Manager and Project Managers in assigned tasks.
Support with the waste control procedure on different sites.
Provide HSQE Training and awareness along different sites.
Ensure correct maintenance of platform of the business in terms of PPEs, Calibrated tools, vehicle kits, trainings, Non-conformities portal…
Conduct and carry out investigation of Near Misses and/or Incidents and implement corrective and preventative measures.
Review of RAMS from other contractors.
Review Risks Assessments of the business.
Job Requirements
Renewable Energy degree or Solar PV Installer & Wind Turbine Tech Courses. / IOSH Managing safely or similar / NEBOSH
One year experience carrying out works on solar plants, BESS installations or Windfarms.
Knowledge about UK Legislation
Flexibility and Availability to travel visiting different plants.
Electrical and mechanical qualification
Knowledge of Spanish language will be a plus
Computer Skills:
Office Package use: Word, Excell, PowerPoint and others;
IT skills on use of computers.
Communication skills to employees and clients and capacity of send the message of safety culture.
