Primary Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Leeds. The school is looking for a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teaching Assistant who can provide effective classroom support and help pupils engage positively with their learning.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teaching Assistant for part-time, day-to-day work starting ASAP. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils within KS1, assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and providing focused support with phonics and guided reading.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working within a KS1 classroom
• Experience supporting phonics and guided reading
• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting children's learning
