Autism Practitioner - Lanark, Carluke & Biggar

Supporting over 48 individuals across Housing Support, Supported Living, Residential Care, and Transitional Assessment, this position offers high job security, structured professional development, and a chance to make a genuine impact using modern, non-restrictive support frameworks.

Competitive Earning Potential: Base pay starts at £13.45/hr, rising to £13.67/hr post-engagement, with a clear progression pathway up to £14.15/hr.

Generous Sleepover Allowance: Boost your earnings with £107.60 for every sleepover shift worked.

Temp-to-Perm Security: Fast-track onboarding into a permanent care career with 6 full-time positions available.

Specialist Training: Gain hands-on expertise in Studio 3 principles, low-arousal approaches, and restraint reduction strategies.

Schedule: Full-time hours including days, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.

Responsibilities

Tailored Support: Provide personalized daily care, mobility assistance, and support with household activities across community and residential settings in Lanark, Carluke, and Biggar.

Keyworker Leadership: Lead regular reviews, co-design outcome-based support plans, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Low-Arousal Practice: Apply Studio 3 non-restrictive principles to promote emotional well-being and eliminate the need for physical restraint.

On-Call Rota: Participate in the local on-call support system, commensurate with your training level.

Qualifications

Safeguarding & Registration: Active membership in the PVG Scheme and current SSSC registration (or a firm commitment to achieve this qualification).
