Golden Charter have a brand-new opportunity for a Head of Procurement to join us on a full time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.
As Head of Procurement, you will develop and own our procurement strategy, working with our Risk and Financial Accounting teams to ensure we comply with our Supplier Management Policy and Framework and FCA rules and guidance in relation to material outsourcing. You’ll be sourcing and negotiating with material suppliers, monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations as well as developing and implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will own the procurement processes across the Company, ensuring that we achieve the best possible commercial contractual terms in relation to cost, service and quality.

You’ll be the perfect person for us if:
You have strong negotiation and analytical skills
You have the ability to build and maintain solid supplier relationships
You have proven experience in procurement and supply chain management
You have experience of working within an organisation that has not previously had a centralised procurement function
You are proficient in financial planning and budget management
You have high levels of attention to detail
You have experience of reviewing and managing contracts with suppliers
You have excellent communication skills
