JSW are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Group Head of Sales and Events who is passionate about the late-night premium hospitality sector. In this role, you will lead and inspire our sales teams across our estate, driving engagement and delivering exceptional results.

As the Group Head of Sales and Events, your main responsibility will be to develop and implement a comprehensive Sales and Events Strategy for our group. This will involve managing our corporate, third-party, and site sales teams, and continuously motivating, supervising, and monitoring their efforts to achieve our key performance indicators.

In addition to leading the sales teams, you will also take ownership of key project initiatives aimed at enhancing the sales and events proposition. Success in this role will require a deep understanding of our guests, effective stakeholder and account management, and collaboration with suppliers, marketing, commercial, and operational teams to align with sales requirements and achieve their KPIs.

Our client operate four late-night premium sites in Central London, each with its own unique selling proposition (USP) and target audience. The venues are renowned for its exclusive venues, cutting-edge concepts, and top-notch experiences across fine dining, opulent events, members clubs, and high-end nightlife.

Main responsibilities:

- Event Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with our goals and brand identity. Stay updated on emerging event trends and technologies to enhance our event experiences.

- Team Leadership and Management: Lead a team of sales professionals, including event managers, coordinators, and support staff, ensuring their performance and growth.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and adherence to financial goals. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to optimise costs while maintaining high-quality services.

- Relationship Management: Cultivate successful partnerships with brands, promoters, and corporate clients to create new revenue streams. Identify investment opportunities, threats, and challenges to accurately forecast the events sales budget. Develop and manage key client accounts to drive events sales.

- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create event marketing and promotion strategies. Utilise various marketing channels to reach the target audience and maximise attendance.

What we are looking for:

- Strong Hospitality Sales background (minimum 3 years) with experience in multi-site sales or a similar role.

- Knowledge and understanding of the late-night premium hospitality sector, including the importance of prebooked sales, Christmas, and special occasions.

- Experience in influencing and implementing sales strategies in a multi-site hospitality or leisure business.

- Proven track record of managing and leading a high-performing sales team.

- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset to make informed decisions that drive the sales proposition.

- Guest-focused with the ability to identify guest wants and needs.

- Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, suppliers, and accounts at all levels.

- Innovative self-starter with a strong ambition to succeed and grow within a dynamic business.
