Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Mechanical Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in project management to join successful and friendly team in Macclesfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a young engineer looking to develop their career by managing engineering projects from conception through to completion.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects.

Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers throughout project lifecycles.

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Identify and resolve project risks and technical issues.

Participate in project meetings and prepare reports as required.

Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Previous experience in project management or project coordination within an engineering environment.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Full driving licence (preferred).

Desirable Skills Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or engineering projects.

Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.

Familiarity with engineering design software.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
