Inspection Engineer - Electrical

Pyramid8 are currently supporting and exciting and growing business who operate in the live performance sectors. They are recruiting for an Inspection Engineer with experience of electrical inspections, you will deliver day to day delivery of electrical testing and inspections.
They are a small friendly company who are growing and looking for an enthusiastic individual who will work with an experienced team of individuals working in the live production sectors. Working with Theatres, Schools, Exhibition Centres to provide high quality lighting and sound solutions.
The role is based in Sherburn however you will be expected to travel and there will be some out of hours work and overnight stays. They will also consider an individual who lives in the North West Area.
This Role is subject to a DBS Check
Key responsibilities:
Carrying out scheduled inspections (EICR and PAT)
Assisting with LOLER and PUWER inspections
Completion of associated reports
Assisting with reactive maintenance and repairs
Assisting with installation project

be able to demonstrate a good understanding of electrical systems used on stages
be able to fault find sound, lighting and video systems
be practical and hands on

In order to meet these responsibilities the post holder must be able to demonstrate:
a current, full UK driving license
an electrical qualification (City & Guilds 2391, City & Guilds 2377 or
similar)
a good level of IT literacy
basic numeracy and literacy skills
It would also be advantageous, but not essential, for the post holder to have:
experience within the entertainment industry
a good understanding of lifting systems and equipment used on stages
a valid CSCS card
up to date IPAF, PASMA and counterbalance forklift licenses
PAT qualification
