Sircle Collection is coming to London in 2024! Opening our first boutique hotel in the UK in Q3 2024, we are looking for a Executive Head Chef to join our preopening team and successfully bring our brand to life.
The hotel will be located next to Liverpool Street Station, tucked away in Devonshire Square a charming brick courtyard with 81 serene rooms, including 11 suites, The Cover our private members' club, and our Seven North restaurant a concept by award-winning Chef Eyal Shani. The newest location will be part of Sircle Collections vibrant group of one-of-a-kind hotels, restaurants and bars in Europe's most interesting neighbourhoods.
We are looking for an Executive Head Chef to lead our overall culinary offerings including Seven North, our innovative, zero waste and sustainable restaurant concept drawing inspiration from Mediterranean and other local European cuisines.

What youll be doing with us:
As our Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for building, developing and leading a team of up to 25 chefs, delivering excellent dishes across Seven North, The Cover, our hotel room and breakfast offerings. You will report into our Executive Food & Beverage team, and deliver on P&L expectations, balance food & labor costs and manage your kitchen budgets accordingly. In addition to this, you will be tasked with reviewing team productivity to meet service, operational and financial objectives.
Being successful within our Executive Head Chef role will involve fostering and developing key relationships including with our food suppliers, ensuring all quality standards are met. You will develop and lead your brigade of chefs, including your Sous Chefs, to ensure that all dishes are being prepared according to the set quality and standards as expected. It is key to assist in developing a good relationship with the service team to ensure that any anticipated dish changes due to running a sustainable and zero waste kitchen are communicated promptly to the service management team.
Overall, you will be responsible for ensuring all health and safety standards are met, reviewing regularly the kitchen equipment, training of chefs and ensuring all HACCP guidelines documented and are being followed by team kitchen members.
Job requirements
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as an Executive Head Chef or Sous Chef, within an upscale restaurant, with a track record of driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.
Comprehensive understanding of culinary principles, food trends, and industry best practices, with the ability to translate insights into innovative F&B concepts and offerings.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build strong relationships, and foster a positive work environment.
Excellent financial acumen, with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, analyse financial data, and drive revenue growth and profitability.
Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively multitask, prioritise workload, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and, payroll (Fourth) and F&B management software.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
Given that we're in the preopening phase, we need someone who can adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will ideally join us in June/ July 2024.
