Software Engineer I, Infrastructure

Salary: £57,000 - 97,000 per year

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a similar technical degree, or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, working three days per week minimum in our London office
• Proficiency with a high-level programming language
• Good technical, collaborative, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with C++, Python, and Linux
• Exposure to common cloud infrastructure components, with AWS preferred
• Exposure to Kubernetes
• Previous professional experience in software engineering or a similar field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test code changes
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical issues
• Participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with engineers who use our infrastructure and help them solve their problems
