Description
Raising sales invoices including recharges to customers
Credit control
Processing accounts payable & raising payments to suppliers
Preparing and posting journal entries, prepayments, accruals etc.
Managing the online banking
Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
Analysing management accounts, highlighting and investigating variances to the budgets
Preparing draft VAT returns
Month end reconciliations for banks, credit cards and major balance sheet accounts
Running monthly payrolls for various clients
Producing year end payroll returns including P60s & P11(D)s
Any ad hoc tasks in the day to day running of the office eg dealing with incoming post, ordering office suppliers, maintaining document filing systems
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
A degree in finance, accounting or a related field
Proficiency in accounting softwares
Excellent computer systems knowledge
Proactive and interested in learning and developing new skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and always lend a helping hand
Excellent communication skills and have a customer centric attitude
Job Offer
A competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000k pro rata
Part time role - 3 days in the office (Tue, Wed and Thur)
