Are you passionate about demonstrating the value of education to vulnerable children?

A specialist built school based in East Grinstead is looking for a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join the team now! You will support students with special educational needs (SEN), and a range of associated social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH).

This Special Needs Teaching Assistant role is ideal for a Psychology, Sociology and Criminology graduates. You will gain excellent practical experience with SEN/SEMH pupils in a relevant field, before you take your next step. The role will give you experience working with vulnerable pupils, increasing their engagement, attainment and life chances.

These children and young people face multiple barriers in their day-to-day life, including trauma, marginalisation and disadvantage, low educational achievement and social stigma. With this Special Needs Teaching Assistant role based in East Grinstead, you will be an essential part of the pupils school life as with your consistency, you will provide them with invaluable help so they learn as much as they can, progress as far as they can and accomplish as much as they.

You will be instrumental in providing consistency, and equipping children and young people with tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe that they can succeed in life.
