We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join a supportive SEN school in Leeds. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs. Working through Reed, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a nurturing educational environment that caters to the unique requirements of each student.

Day-to-day of the role: Provide one-to-one support and group support to students with a range of SEN, promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning.

Implement behaviour management strategies and individualised support plans in collaboration with teaching staff.

Monitor and record student progress, adapting approaches to meet their evolving needs.

Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential.

Liaise with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.

Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your understanding of SEN and behaviour management.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience working with children or young people, particularly in an SEN setting.

Understanding of behaviour management strategies and SEN such as ASD, ADHD, and emotional behavioural difficulties.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students.

Patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to supporting students with challenging behaviour.

A relevant qualification in education, psychology, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
