As a Despatch Planner, your responsibilities will include:

Receive, process and maintain customer schedules and orders
Plan and generate works orders in line with customer requirements
Liaise with customers by email, phone and online portals on order status
Prepare and pack customer shipments in line with specific packaging requirements
Load and unload vehicles, using forklift training where required
Maintain accurate records and support the wider logistics and purchasing team
As a Despatch Planner, your experience will include:

Experience within a manufacturing or logistics environment
Familiarity with MRP or EDI systems is an advantage
A proven track record of proactive scheduling and customer order management
Confident communication skills, comfortable liaising directly with customers
Forklift licence (FLT) is an advantage, though training can be provided
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
