Job Description

The company specialise in construction, property development, and specialist plant hire services for public and private sector clients across the North of England, working across residential and public properties with the aim to improve the condition of homes and communities across the region. The company work across internal refurbishments, external refurbishments, new-build developments, regeneration projects and environmental improvements.

They are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team. This is an EWI build focused role and not RLO focused to assist on the project delivery. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Main Contractor who have a healthy pipeline of work and operate on a number of schemes.

You will be reporting into a Contracts Manager and your responsibilities will include:

The smooth operational running of the site, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team
Monitoring the quality of work
Liaising with the client
Liaising with residents and ensuring they are kept updated with the construction process
Ordering materialsExperience needed:

SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is £40k (depending on experience) plus package and other benefits.
