Job Title: Contract Maintenance Engineer - temporary contract, nights 3 months Location: Pontefract, Ferrybridge area A1 , M62, M18 access Pay Range: £40 - £42 per hour open to experience and expectationsContract Type: Contract nights cover due to peak demand, 10pm-6am Sunday to thursday nightsInside Scope, PAYE UMBRELLA not LTD Company We are recruiting for a fast-paced manufacturer and logistics handler Attracting an Electrical bias / Mechanical competent multi-skilled shift engineerKey Responsibilities – Contract Maintenance Engineer - Nights• To service adjust and repair process and production materials handling machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner• To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements• Carry out Planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedulesThere is a potential of overtime and again flexibility will be required to support this when neededQualifications & Requirements – Contract Maintenance Engineer - Nights •Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or mechanical engineering or similar manufacturing or automation •Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background A competent electrical or mechanical engineering professional with technical experienceMust be able to solve problems, PLC / automation experience ideally produce safe systems of workShould be capable of contributing to the development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation or maintenance of products, equipment, process or serviceThis is an all-round hands-on maintenance electrical role ias well as conveyors and processingExtensive planned maintenance tasks and organisation of the engineering plant is also essential For more information on this role, please contact Mike Butler on or call 01132123519Candidates who are currently a Contract Electrical Engineer, Contract Electrical Shift Engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer, Contract Multi Skilled Shift Engineer, Electrical Maintenance, Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, machine tool maintenance , Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Fitter, Plant Engineer, Electrician and Electrical Engineer and any equivalent background will be suitable for the role.Omega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
