Data Engineer

Up to £60,000 + Benefits

Birmingham (Hybrid - 2 x a month) This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading specialist care providers as they embark on a major data transformation journey. You'll play a key role in building a modern Azure-based data platform, taking ownership of end-to-end data engineering projects that will directly support reporting, analytics, self-service data access, and future AI initiatives. THE COMPANY: This care provider, delivers long-term, community-based care to individuals. As part of an ongoing digital transformation, they are investing heavily in its data and analytics capabilities to create a scalable, future-proof data estate. THE ROLE: You will take ownership of designing and delivering data solutions across a variety of business functions, helping to build a modern Microsoft data platform and support the development of reusable data services.Key responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines from requirements gathering through to production deployment.

Developing and maintaining scalable data models, transformations, and data products using modern Azure technologies.

Optimising data pipelines to ensure high levels of performance, data quality, consistency, and availability.

Supporting the development of an enterprise ontology model to improve understanding and relationships across data domains.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: You will bring strong capability in:

Microsoft Azure data engineering technologies.

Designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.

SQL development and data modelling.

CI/CD processes and deployment best practices.
