Role Summary

This critical position has been created to underpin strategic expansion and maintain operational excellence across various projects. As a vital member of the team, you will help drive technological advancement, ensuring seamless deployment processes and continuous integration. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automation infrastructure to enhance deployment efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop resilient CI/CD pipelines
• Support and optimise cloud-based environments, ensuring high availability and security
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
• Contribute to the development of best practices and operational procedures
• Travel bi-weekly to client sites across Bristol, Cheltenham, the M4 corridor, and Manchester, providing on-site support as required

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a DevOps role, with a strong understanding of automation tools and cloud platforms
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Willingness to travel bi-weekly to various client locations in the UK

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of security best practices within cloud environments
• Prior experience working in client-facing or consultancy roles
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
