We’re recruiting a Software Engineer with DICOM experience for our client, an innovative technology business based in Oxford.

This is a great opportunity for someone with around 1–3 years’ software engineering experience who has worked with DICOM and wants to build on that specialist knowledge while developing a broader engineering skillset.

What We’re Looking For

DICOM or similar experience is the key requirement for this position.

Alongside this, our client’s wishlist includes:

• Around 1–3 years’ commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python or a comparable language.
• A good understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with FHIR, HL7, AWS, Linux, backend databases, CI/CD, TDD or BDD would be a bonus rather than a reason not to apply.

Exposure to regulated, highly controlled or quality‑focused software environments would also be useful.

You certainly don’t need every skill listed. If you have solid software engineering fundamentals and genuine hands‑on DICOM experience, we’d particularly like to hear from you.
