I am working with a family run haulage company who are looking for a Warehouse administrator to join their team on a permanent basis in Hinstock. Responsibilities include:
Provide general administration support as required to aid the efficient running of operations.
To keep accurate records of pallets to avoid financial exposure and inability.
Proactively manage all stock movement documentation, in line with agreed process and procedures.
To update the systems with relevant data - movement of cases /pallet transactions.
To liaise with customers, haulier's, and other departments within the company on all issues relating to the operation.
Maintain storage database and schedules with no effect to the service levels and stock integrity.
Escalate to the Warehouse Supervisor any issues that are likely to affect the performance of the department, site, or relationship with the customer.
To comply with Quality, Health and Safety procedures and to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
Key skills
IT Literate including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Excellent organizational skills - able to keep all paperwork in methodical order and ensuring the correct paperwork is allocated.
Excellent communication skills (Verbally and electronically) - must be able to communicate with the warehouse/Drivers and Office to make sure that all relevant parties are aware of arrival of deliveries to make the day run more efficiently.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced and changing environment.
Motivated and able to work under pressure with the ability to meet critical deadlines.
Able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team.
